" I will give you a mouth and wisdom which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist." Luke 21:15 "How forcible are the right words" Job 6:25. You should realize that one of the ways the enemy contends and militates against the children of God is to open his mouth or tongue against them.
The tongue of your enemy is poisonous and negative; it is an evil weapon against your destiny in Christ. It must not be allowed into your life.
For whenever the enemy opens his mouth it is to pour out evil powers to silence your voice in destiny. "For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened / against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue" Ps. 109:2.
My enemies speak evil of me, when shall he die, and his name perish" Ps. 41:5. You should realized that your own mouth / tongue has power. Your tongue is more powerful as a weapon of warfare. You can with intelligible use of the right scriptural words appropriately dislodge or neutralize the forces of wickedness directed at you.
You can quench all the fiery darts of the wicked such as:
i. Spiritual missiles
ii. Arrows
iii. Arsenals
iv. Barriers
v. Blockades
vi. Magic
vii. Juju
viii. Enchantment
ix. Spell etc. With the right spiritual words of your mouth.
ENEMY'S BOAST:
"The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil, my lust shall be satisfies upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them." Ex.15:9. The enemy has a seven fold plans of destruction to execute against the child of God.
Plan 1:
The enemy is boastful. He will pursue his victim relentlessly and even overtakes him. But no weapon that is formed against you by the enemy shall prosper.
Plan 2:
I will pursue. The enemy wants to drive you out of business / life so that you have no divine relevance in life. He wants your place/seat to be vacant.
Plan 3:
I will over take. There is something about your future which the enemy envies Jer. 29:11 Hence the enemy wants to go ahead of you to steal, kill and destroy and seal your tomorrow so that you have no future.
Plan 4: I will divide the spoil: The enemy wants to take over your inheritance and eat up the fruit of your labour so that your labour will be in vain. He is determined that you shall not eat the fruit.
Plan 5: I will be satisfied with the spoil. This means your enemy has vowed that your expectation shall be cut off. That is to say you will live to serve your enemies. (Mk 5: 25-34)
Plan 6: I will draw my sword: This means your enemy is armed and he is not casual about his plans to eliminate you. He has a spiritual sword and he plans to draw it against you.
Plan 7: I will destroy them: your enemy is a destroyer; he wants to destroy your life and everything that has to do with your life.
In his determination to deal with you he can come in:
i. As a Flood - untimely death / calamity upon calamity - Is. 59:19
ii. As a Tempest - evil wind of bareness, infertility and miscarriages. Acts 27:20
iii. As a Waster - cancer is a waster, HIV is a waster etc Is. 54:16
iv. As a Sea: sea of troubles Ex. 14:13-15, 21-25. Troubles, sorrows, disappointments, debts and frustrations.
v. As a Horrible pit: Ps. 40:2 joblessness - the pit of obscurity.
vi. As a Evil letter/report a deadly report or an evil letter.
CONTEND WITH THE ENEMY IN BATTLE:
You must content with the enemy in battle using judgment written that cannot fail.
The bible tells you to "rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon:" behold, I have given it to thine hand, Sihon the Amorite, King of Heshbon, and his hand: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.
With your mouth you should consciously "execute upon your enemy the judgment written: this honour have all his saints praise ye the Lord." Ps. 149:9 you are to speak the word of God to your situation using the relevant scriptures to neutralize the enemy.
