A few days after his landmark conferment of the chieftaincy title of "Udu Ako Mmiri 1of Uruala" by HRH Eze Ezeanyika of Uruala, the residential building of Engr. Chief Ikechukwu Hilary Anaghara situated in his village, Umuikpa Ozuomee Uruala in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State has been razed by fire.
A few days after his landmark conferment of the chieftaincy title of "Udu Ako Mmiri 1of Uruala" by HRH Eze Ezeanyika of Uruala, the residential building of Engr. Chief Ikechukwu Hilary Anaghara situated in his village, Umuikpa Ozuomee Uruala in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State has been razed by fire.
Engr. Anaghara, the Manager of Ferdinand Enterprises Ltd and active clubber with Standard Tennis Development Club (STDC), Owerri who had earlier sworn an affidavit in accordance with oath Act 1990, at Uruala Chief Magistrates Registry, ran to the Telegraph with the pathetic story on how his one storey building in his country home caught fire and all important documents therein destroyed.
He said that the last floor of the said storey building caught fire on 2nd day of January while a 3 1/2 year old child was playing with a box of matches. And in the process everything contained in the said floor was lost to fire outbreak which among other things included Ferdinand Enterprises Limited (Nig ) Export Expansion Grant Convertible Certificates; Ferdinand Oil mill Plc license L/No AROO349/2004; Company Identification Code I.C./I.M., Returned cheques from Oando Public Offer; Several Share Certificates from Guaranty Trust Bank Plc., Zenith International Bank Plc., His dividend warrants and those of Chief Godwin Anaghara, used and unused bank cheques. ; Companies' seals; educational certificates from O'level to Masters Engineering Degree from University of Sheffield; various official documents, various personal effects; house hold equipment like generating sets and electronics; and handset with MTN Line - 08036752106 belonging to Mrs. Charity Anaghara.
