PDP will crash in Ondo

Alliance for Democracy (AD) chairman in Ondo State, Chief Adewole Dimehin, has described as total failure, the ongoing reconciliatory move of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the country.

Alliance for Democracy (AD) chairman in Ondo State, Chief Adewole Dimehin, has described as total failure, the ongoing reconciliatory move of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the country.

Chief Dimehin also lambasted some PDP bigwigs, saying they are supporting Obasanjo because of their own selfish interest.

PDP reconcillatory move
It is a total failure, the committee would not achieve any better result, because the third term agenda, before it was shot down by the members of National Assembly, had caused dichotomy within the PDP. President Obasanjo and few of his loyalists have succeeded in killing the party just because of an individual and personal ambition. Those who were wise enough had left the party, while some of the antagonists of third term who are still in the party are bidding time. They are romancing with another party because it is obvious that PDP had gone with Obasanjo's third term plot.

The Obasanjo PDP government, apart from being a failure, is a calamity, in short, a bad influence. He has not made any remarkable achievements, all we are seeing is radio and television propaganda, unemployment among the able-bodied youths in the country have become a moster. Industries and companies across the country had closed down, prostitution among female youths and high rate of robbery incidents being perpetrated by male youths can as well be traced to unemployment in the country. People are fed up with PDP.

Obasanjo's successor
You can see that the party had lost focus. Using Ayo Fayose as chairman of selection committee to choose a presidential candidate for the party is rubbish. It shows how unserious PDP leadership is. They think that since third term failed, the best way to cause confusion in the country is to zone the presidency to South-south instead of calling party congress where decision would he reached by all the stakeholders.

AD/ACD romance
AD had not cemented any agreement with ACD, but definitely AD is going to form a mega party with other credible political parties. For now, AD is working round the clock to search for formidable parties it would merge with so that the party, I mean AD, would maintain its integrity and credibility.

AD and 2007 in elections Ondo
Efforts are in top gear in Ondo State to restore the lost glory of the party in the state. Various strategies have been mapped out by the party. Definitely, PDP will lose the state governorship seat to AD in 2007. Already, people are fed up with Governor Agagu' administration.
In next year's election, PDP will lose all its offices. In short, with the situation of the party, now it may not win ward councillorship, not to talk of top post.
