ABUJA - VICE President Atiku Abubakar is to continue with the on-going reforms of the Obasanjo administration should he (Atiku) succeed President Olusegun Obasanjo.
It was learnt that the Atiku camp reached the decision in Abuja, weekend, following the change of attitude by the leadership of the party to pursue reconciliation with all embittered members of the party.
The Vice President and his allies, Vanguard gathered, met to review the new position of the party and resolved that the party would only give its presidential ticket to anyone that can continue with the on-going reforms of the administration.
'We have resolved that we will build on the present legacy of the President. These legacies are as a result of our collective efforts and it is just natural that we should continue with them especially when they have yielded tremendous results within the country," one source said
