The General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, last Sunday dedicated the new Provincial Headquarters building of 'The Tabernacle of His Glory" of Lagos Province 9 of the church.
Speaking at the church auditorium at 4 Olatunbosun Street, Mafoluku, Lagos, Adeboye described the new provincial building as lovely, and declared his willingness to come and dedicate yet a new and greater tabernacle whenever he was invited in the future.
Speaking in the same vein, the Provincial Pastor of the new tabernacle, John Abioye, also appreciated the province pastors, ministers, workers and members for their immense backing during the course of realising the dream of building the 'magnificent edifice". He also commended the courage of pioneer and former provincial pastor of the tabernacle, Pastor Okenwa, and his team for embarking on such gigantic project.
The new multimillion headquarters province is a three-storey structure. The structure, according to Okenwa, was designed to function as an ideal headquarters.
It has in its functional accommodation a multipurpose hall, worship auditorium, offices for administration and secretarial function, maternity and auxiliary facilities (such as lobbies, foyers toilets etc).
Another thing that makes the province special is its accessibility from two main streets that serve as main entrances to the complex.
The facilities, which are designed to provide easy flow of both human and vehicular traffic.
Again, the auditorium design is done in the way that every seated worshipper in the worship auditorium (including the gallery) has unobstructed view of the altar.
And in terms of elevation, the prima facie roles the church is expected to play in adding to the projection of the global corporate image of the RCCG necessitated adorning the façade with symmetrical, balanced and imposing architectural details
