For calling Nigerians to troop out and fight against President Obasanjo's remaining in office beyond 2007, Professor Wole Soyinka has been described as an "anarchist who is out to destabilize the country through invasion into Nigeria's democratic process even when he keeps his children in far away U. S. and Britain".
Speaking to Sunday Sun in Abuja, Senator Ogunwale dared the Professor to bring his children back to Nigeria and tell them to join forces with his supporters in fighting the third term project if he wanted anybody to believe him, otherwise he should stop making "hollow preaching without showing any material cause for concern."
Senator Felix Ogunwale (PDP Osun), asserted that Nigerians would never be fooled into taking any such action unless when they see Soyanka's children being engaged practically by their concerned father."
According to him, Professor Soyinka "is not showing any love for Nigeria and Nigerians, if he calls them to engage into anything that would lead to loosing their lives or even disrupt the much cherished peace in our dear country."
