A police raid on the stall of an herb seller in Osun State has turned up several human parts meant for sale.

According to the Osun State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Suleiman Fakai, one human skull, one human foot, 20 dried ribs, four human hearts and some dried bones were found with the herb seller identified as Madam Ajobi Isiaka.

The police said they found out that the woman had been distributing human parts to some customers in Ogbomoso and Ilorin.

Detectives acting on information were said to have unearthed the horror items. Police investigations also led to the arrest of a 55-year-old suspect, Alfa Abdullahi Yaro and three other suspects, namely: James Ajagbe, 70, Lasisi Oyelaran, 71, and Alhaji Atanda Ojo, 65.

Fakai said the suspects dug up bodies from graves near the Ladoke Akintola University Teaching Hospital.

Madam Isiaka said the bodies she exhumed were those of her four relatives buried at the cemetery. She named the relatives as Yinusa Akanbi, Ayuba Iyanda, Kareem Akanbi and Audu Iyanda, who according to her, died in succession.

The woman told Daily Sun that she exhumed the bodies, opened their chests with a sharp knife and brought their hearts out to be sold at N1,500 each.

Abdullahi said he was only buying human parts from Madam Isiaka. Ajagbe was identified as the cemetry guard aiding the accused persons. He was arrested in Ogbomosho.
Oyelaran said: 'We don't kill people, we only pick up accident victims along the expressway and we also use mad people's skull when they are dead.

The Commissioner of Police warned Nigerians to be very vigilant and report such evil people to the police.
