The sudden disappearance of the sum of N2.8 million meant for members of the local government executive of the PDP in Emohua is generating a lot of furor.

The sudden disappearance of the sum of N2.8 million meant for members of the local government executive of the PDP in Emohua is generating a lot of furor.
The money meant as xmas gift is believed to have been released in December 2004.

Although there is no confirmation, sources within the Emohua PDP who spoke to this publication alleged that the gift may have come from the State Governor, Dr Peter Odili.

Our sources revealed that initially local government chairmen of the party were to be part of the money gift.

But we have been informed that a decision was later taken to group all local government chairmen together.

Accordingly, the mantle to collect the money meant for the remaining grassroots executive members of the PDP fell on vice chairmen of the party.
Somehow, the money for Emohua did not get to its destination from what we have been told.

It ended up in a bank account.
Most of January, the disappearance of the money has become a major issue even though there are attempts to suppress the flow of information.
