The Telegraph also learnt through an impeccable source that Adaeze, the governor's daughter who wedded recently delivered a baby girl in London.
Among relations and friends of the first family, there were jubilations.
Particularly overjoyed by the arrival of the baby was Adaeze's mother, Justice Mary Odili
Although baby boys remain the dream of most fathers, girls are believed in most African cultures to bring luck, especially if they come first.
We could not however, confirm if Adaeze and her husband have returned to Nigeria.
Odili had given out his daughter at a lavish high society wedding in Port Harcourt that attracted movers and shakers from all walks of life, among them President Olusegun Obasanjo.
