"I have not suffered any sickness, not even a headache, that is one of the gifts of Jesus Christ to me," he told Daily Sun.
He also told how he met Jesus and how the saviour has been sustaining him for the past 40 years.
Mission in Enugu
The pastor of Abundant Life Gospel Outreach Ministries International invited me to Enugu and I asked my father, Jesus. He said I should come to Enugu and deliver people and bless them. That is the only ministry I have been doing for 40 years, I am 120 years old. I don't take any form of medication. For these years, I have been serving God, I have not suffered any sickness not even a headache. That is one of the gifts of Jesus Christ to me - good health.
How I met Jesus
I was baptized in 1926 by Reverend Payne in Benin. If you go to Benin, you will see Payne Grammar School. I was of the Anglican Communion (Church Missionary Society, CMS). Then I was deep in idolatry, people were saying, Baba Moses was baptized by the white man. Yet, I was still worshiping idols. In 1939, I joined Hitler War (World War II). I came back from Italy in 1945. Then, one day Jesus spoke to me. Then I hadn't known Him. I went to my wife in the kitchen and said "who is talking to me?" She said she didn't talk to me. One day Jesus spoke to me again and asked ‘go and baptize yourself in the gbudugbudu Okoko river.'
That's where I baptize people now. When I got there, I went to the shallow end of it, immersed myself in it and put a cross on my fore-head. That was how I was born-again. Those things I was doing, I no longer do them. Since then, He has been sending me on evengelical errand. Nobody knows Nigeria like me. When I go to the North, if they are fighting, they won't see me and I will not see them. Like Egyptians, I see them no more. Nobody tells me the story of the east. I know it well. So, also Lagos, West. In Ijawland, I go by boat the way Christ did. But President Olusegun Obasanjo took me to Israel. I am an illiterate.
I have never seen the four walls of a classroom, but Jesus taught me and I graduated in His Ministry. When I close my eyes, I will be seeing the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Some white men from New York, USA came to me in the company of Pastor Enoch Adeboye. They came to my house and they asked if I had been in Nigeria all along. Since then, Jesus has been using me to perform all kinds of miracles. I have maintained my spiritual strength because I shunned materialism. People will bring cars and other expensive gifts, I will say no, because God said freely you received, freely shall you give. If you give me a gift, I can only accept it if Jesus directs me to.
In most cases, however, Jesus tells me that if I don't accept the gift, His blessing will not be complete on the person, so I will accept it. People come proclaiming the efficacy of my prayers and I will tell them that it is not me but Jesus who does all things.
How I fast and pray
No limit to my fasting. I can pray for so long and the spirit of the Lord will be feeding me. That has become part of my life. I don't eat much anymore. If I drink water, I am all right. I am filled by the Holy Ghost. And I am strong from morning till night, I don't sleep. I pray always. That is the ministry Jesus gave to me. My father whom I am serving never sleeps and I will not sleep.
Ministry
I have a base. My ministry is Holy Spirit Redeemed Mission Church.
It is in Benin, Edo State. In the village where He called me, that is where the headquarters of the ministry is. I only have three branches. Jesus told me to establish only five branches. Many so called bishops, pastors claim they have 20, 30 branches. Some can't even count the number of their branches. Still, when they die, they are in hell. I am scared of that prospect.
Forty years of my ministry. I have only three branches. I am afraid of disobeying Jesus, because of the number, I am in control so that the spirit of God will not be diluted. I visit those branches to make sure that they are doing the right things.
I have Jesus alone, but I have pastors in the church. They are not my prayer partners. Only Jesus Christ is. I talk with Him and He talks with me. I will never do my will but the Will of my Father in Heaven.
What to expect in Enugu
Everything you want will happen. God will fulfill your heart's desires if you sincerely believe and have absolute faith in him. There is nothing that is beyond God. He is the creator. I have seen people, 46 years in marriage, no issue. Jesus asked me to ask the man, "are you older than Jesus?" that man has four children now, two boys, two girls. There is nothing that God cannot do.
Many people come to me requesting my permission to put me on television, but I tell them, Jesus never sought any advertisement for himself. It is what he tells me that I will do. I have no time for radio and television talks. When I went to Israel, Jesus told me that He couldn't find five churches in Nigeria. I almost died in Israel I asked Him how about those people preaching on radio and television and He said that they were working for themselves. I went numb.
Invitation to other churches
If you invited me to your church, I will pray over it. I have a father, Jesus is my father. I will ask Him, If He says that I shouldn't go, of course, I will not go. Even if you promise me millions. It will not move me. But if He permits me to go even if the church is in a cabin, I will go. That is my ministry.
Problems in the land
These are caused by the absence of Jesus in our lives. As for politicians struggling for power, without Jesus in their lives they will not make it. It is not by money, might, or power. It is only through Jesus Christ. Anyone who forces himself on the people is taking a risk. He will fail.
