Alams orders shake-up but appointee refuses to move

Governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha has ordered a minor shake-up of some members of his team.

... Prince TKO Okorotie returns as political adviser

Governor Diepreye Alamieyeseigha has ordered a minor shake-up of some members of his team.

Affected by the order are special advisers.

Insiders told the Telegraph that the move may be part of the plan to give a purposeful direction to Alamieyeseigha's second tenure administration.
Accordingly, the governor recently ordered Prince T.K.O Okorotie to return to his former office as special adviser, political.

After the elections in 2003, he had been named Special Adviser in-charge of Oil and Gas while Dimairo Beinyanbofa move who until recently was special adviser, political has been asked to take charge as Special Adviser in-charge of NDDC ans special projects.

Graham Ipikansi believed to be a close confidant of the State Deputy Governor now takes charge of Oil & Gas

Although the changes have been announced, insiders suggest snags exist.
They say Dimairu is yet to vacate his office for Okorotie who appears set to step into his new role.

Investigations show that of the three special advisers, one operated before now from home.

The position swapping would mean that one of the special advisers would do what Graham did - operating from his house..

The former local government chairman from Ekeremor and former adviser on political matters appears headed for a no-office-situation.
That might explain, his decision to stay put in the office of the political adviser.

It is not clear what to make of the special adviser's attitude.
Could it be an attempt to draw attention to the need to establish an office for his operations?

Could it be a clear case of insubordination?.
There is no confirmation that the governor has reacted officially and no clue what he would do.

Some of the men standing around him had been planted in offices, perhaps as pay-back for their roles politically, or for roles their mentors played.
