Haba, Gbenga Obasanjo!

It is ethically and morally wrong for Dr. Gbenga Obasanjo to describe Vice President Atiku Abubakar as greedy, especially considering the lingering feud between his father and the VP.

It is ethically and morally wrong for Dr. Gbenga Obasanjo to describe Vice President Atiku Abubakar as greedy, especially considering the lingering feud between his father and the VP.

He cited the privatization of the African Petroleum and Pentascope as reasons why he thought Atiku was greedy.

While I do not know the details of the Pentascope deal, it is public knowledge that the AP was up for privatisation and Sadiq Petroleum won the bid.

As at that time, all the stakeholders agreed on the amount that the Bureau of Public Enterprises said the previous operators of AP owed to NNPC; and the deal was successfully sealed, until the NNPC suddenly woke up to disclaim the figures years after.

This led to the eventual withdrawal of Sadiq Petroleum.

Obviously, Gbenga lacks morals, as he did not condemn corruption but commended Nigeria's 'many intelligent and corrupt people"; while he condemned the 'stupid ones… who get caught.''

How intelligent could a man that talks this way be?

In Gbenga's world, as long as you are not caught, it is okay to be corrupt. He even let us into the elite's secrets of how they launder money, using passports with white names and black faces, with the connivance of their collaborators in the former Soviet Union!

Now, I challenge the EFCC to take up the President's son on these disclosures; and to probe his involvement with the Aladja and Ajaokuta Steel Rolling Mills - both of which have become drain pipes for Nigeria for decades now.
