The Chief of the General Staff of the Nigerian Navy Admiral Ganiyu Adekeye is convinced that the investigation on the case with the four kidnapped employees of the two companies contractors of Oil Dutch Shell in the region of the delta of Niger River, will lead to their release, the Nigerian NIA agency reports.

Admiral Ganiyu Adekeye has expressed his certainty to the agency that the secret location of the kidnappers will be found and the four hostages will be released.
He didn't wish to provide additional details announcing that military contingents were deployed in the region and that the four Westerners will be released.
The Bulgarian citizen's name is Milko Nichev and he is from the town of Dobrich (Northeast Bulgaria), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced. Nichev has worked in an oil field of Royal Dutch Shell. The four kidnapped used to work at the oil field at 25 km from the delta of Niger River when armed men in three boats attacked the platform and kidnapped the workers from a boat fastened to the oil platform. The Bulgarian engineer Milko Nichev used to work for the Nigerian Tidex company which is an affiliate of Royal Dutch Shell. Bulgarian Foreign Ministry has no information about the demands of the kidnappers.
The charge d'affaires of the Bulgarian Embassy in Abudja Petko Prandzhev got immediately into contact with the local authorities and the British Embassy since a British citizen ihas also been reported to be among the kidnapped.
