THE new Assistant Inspector-General of AIG Police Zone two command, Mr. Adedayo S. Adeoye has taken over in Lagos.The zone two command comprises Lagos and Ogun States. Adeoye, took over from Mr. Israel O. Ajao (AIG) on January 6, 2006 at Zone Two Police Command Headquarters, Onikan Lagos.

Ajao has proceeded to the National Institute of Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS), Kuru, Jos.
Before his recent appointment as the zone two police boss, Adeoye was the AIU in charge of zone eight comprising Kogi, Ekiti and Kwara States.
