PRESIDENCY'S uncompromising stance on corruption, deft maneouvres and supremacy battle among political leaders will lead to the removal of three governors this year, a prophet, Most Rev John Obiokeke has predicted.

Also, according to him, only prayers and supplications of Nigerians will avert severe crisis in the presidency which in his words ‘will threaten the polity". He however said the crisis will not result into President Olusegun Obasanjo's ouster.

Obiokeke, presiding bishop of God's Pentecostal Mission (GPM) and president of the global intercessory organisation, Worldwide Christian Intercessory Association (WWCIA), in his 2006 prophecies said that not fewer than three governors would go the way of former Bayelsa State governor, Chief Diepreye Alameyeseigha this year.

"Three governors will be impeached this year," the cleric predicted. He did not name the governors nor their states."

Describing 2006 as a great year for the masses, the prophet insisted that the year will spring grave surprises on the political landscape. According to him, not only that one of the henchmen of the president will die, he revealed that many politicians jostling for juicy political offices will not live to see 2007.

Specifically, Dr Obiokeke who is referred to widely as "the man who sees tomorrow, described the presidential ambition of Vice President Atiku Abubakar as a wild goose chase.

"He will not be president, God has said so," he said. Listing other major happenings to expect in the year, the Prophet, divulged that the nation will witness massive political violence and communal clashes across the country.

"It is a good year for Nigerians but we are going to experience high political violence and communal clashes," he said, warning that the nation will still witness air disaster unless strong prayers are made.

On the prospect of the Super Eagles lifting the African Nation's Cup billed to commence this month in Egypt, the cleric stated emphatically that Eagles will not win the championship.
