Pastors besiege Odukoya's home

The Ikeja GRA home of Pastor (Mrs) Bimbo Odukoya who died in the Sosoliso air crash in Port Harcourt has virtually turned to a holy site as hundreds of eminent pastors across the world troop into the house to pay their respect to the departed soul.

The Ikeja GRA home of Pastor (Mrs) Bimbo Odukoya who died in the Sosoliso air crash in Port Harcourt has virtually turned to a holy site as hundreds of eminent pastors across the world troop into the house to pay their respect to the departed soul.

In a unanimous verdict, the pastors in their condolence messages agreed that they will all miss a 'rare gem" in Christendom.

This is coming even as there are indications that the corpse of the Fountain of Life Church pastor would be flown into Lagos from Port Harcourt today ahead of burial arrangements which sources disclosed would begin next week.

In his submission, Bishop T. V. Adelakun, the General Overseer of Victory International Church, Lagos described Pastor Odukoya as 'a rare gem and dedicated servant of God," adding that 'we shall surely miss you."

The General Overseer of the Gospel Faith Mission International (GOFAMINT), Pastor (Dr) Ezekiel Abina said Pastor Bimbo 'bestrode Nigerian Christendom with her ‘Singles and Married' like a colossus. It is on record that she has been a blessing to thousands of homes with her adept and anointed teachings on happy home based on love and understanding with Christ as its foundation."

Rev. Sam Adeyemi of Daystar Church, Lagos described Pastor Bimbo as 'a role model, mentor, a woman of grace, God's handmaiden," while Pastor Femi Emmanuel of Living Spring Chapel, declared: 'Bimbo, you touched lives, you fulfilled destiny, you'll forever live on Good night."

Taking solace in the life beyond, Adeyemi said he was sure that Pastor Bimbo must be resting in the bosom of her creator, stressing that 'our nation has lost a gem and an instrument of righteousness."

In his own message, Rev. C. Clarke of Walk By Faith Ministries, Florida, U.S.A, said 'I have never cried in a long time until I heard the news (of her death), the love and joy which she radiated in her smile and her spiritual encouragement to me are priceless. A jewel and a daughter of Zion has gone to rest in the Lord."
