Two of the remaining three survivors of the Sosoliso plane crash died yesterday, raising the death toll to 108.

According to a source, the two new deaths occurred at the INTELS S.O.S Hospital on Sunday and their corpses have since been deposited at the Braithweit Memorial Hospital mortuary in Port Harcourt.

The only remaining survivor, Bunmi Amosun, is said to be receiving medical attention in an undisclosed hospital in Port Harcourt.

In a related development, the Ministry of Aviation has commenced investigative works on the causes of the crash on Saturday afternoon of a Sosoliso aircraft in Port Harcourt, the two information gadgets on the plane have been sent abroad for reading processes.

Addressing pressmen at the Port Harcourt International Airport on Monday, the Director, Accident Investigation and Prevention Bureau of the ministry, Engr. Ifeanyi Ozoka, said that the Black Box and the Cockpit Flight Recorder have been sent to the United Kingdom for proper reading process.

He said the investigating team would also commence public interviews of eyewitnesses very soon to be able to ascertain the causes of the accident, from the human view.

"We have begun investigations into the crash and the first step to
that was sendin the recorders retrieved from the ruins of the plane to the United Kingdom for the reading processes that should be involved in bringing out facts and fiures as recorded by the information gadets", he said.

He further said that foreign experts from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB), of the U.K have come in to assist the team in itsinvestigations, which he said would make their works easier to be done.

He also announced that the four parts of the plane, including the
nose, the tail and the two wings of the plane, adding that these arevital, just as the recorders, to the investigation.

He, however, called for public support during the interview sessions,to cooperate with the team so their its work would be made easier andfaultless.
