The gifted Bolton playmaker intends to go out on a high after the disappointment of failing to qualify for the World Cup finals.
"I am going to the Nations Cup because it will be my last tournament with Nigeria. After that I will retire," he told the club`s in-house TV station Wanderers World.
"It will be great to go there and finish my international career after missing a couple of the qualifiers (for the World Cup). That will be it. I have given my all to Nigeria for a very long time.
"We are still very disappointed we are not going to Germany as we believe we have the talent but we made some errors. I hope we will learn from that.
"We have a very good chance of winning the Nations Cup. That`s our target."
