MAJOR parts of the ill-fated Bellview air craft which crashed at Lisa Igbore village in Ifo local government area of Ogun State, October 22 may have been recovered as excavation continued yesterday at the crash site.
MAJOR parts of the ill-fated Bellview air craft which crashed at Lisa Igbore village in Ifo local government area of Ogun State, October 22 may have been recovered as excavation continued yesterday at the crash site.
Also, the villagers have petitioned the state government and the Inspector General of Police (IGP) over what they described as unlawful arrest and detention of some of their kinsmen by the police.
A reliable source, at the site who preferred anonymity told Daily Champion that the excavation process which he said resumed about 10 a.m. has reached an advanced stage.
Besides the parts of the body of the crashed plane which were recovered as at 3 p.m yesterday though in pieces, human bones and decomposed flesh were also recovered.
The source disclosed said parts recovered include left and right engines of the plane and the second part of the wing of the ill-fated flight 210.
