The group that claims to be Gani Adams faction said the dead goat was found inside a large plastic bowl which the woman was carrying.
The accused, Bilikisu Fatai said she didn't do it alone. She mentioned an Alfa, who she said escaped when the OPC cornered her.
She said: 'The OPC men saw the dead goat with me. They questioned me and I confessed, so they handed me over to the police. But Alfa ran away.
His wife is my friend. I'm a native of Ibadan from Labinran area but I live in Lagos with my husband.
The OPC coordinator at Foko area, Comrade Rotimi Olumo told Daily Sun: 'Our men were patrolling Foko area, when they saw this woman. They requested to know the content of the big plastic bowl on her head at that early hour. She became jittery and we were forced to look into the bowl. We found a strangulated goat there, so we took the woman to the police for further investigation."
The Oyo State Police Commissioner, Mr. Abubakar Audu said the 38-year-old suspect would be charged to court when investigations were completed.
