MADRID: Spanish pathologists were performing an autopsy yesterday on the body of Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo's wife Stella, who died earlier in the day in the southern resort of Marbella, the Spanish foreign ministry said. The Nigerian presidency had announced earlier yesterday that the Nigerian first lady died after undergoing surgery. She was 59. She had been on a private visit to Marbella, a Spanish diplomat said in Madrid, adding that the autopsy was under way in nearby Malaga. - AFP
