A Nigerian court on Thursday charged a militia leader from this West African nation's oil-rich south with treason and plotting to overthrow the government, three weeks after his arrest triggered street protests and the closure of oil platforms. Justice Babs Kwewumi read five charges against Dokubo-Asari, including 'treasonable felony to remove President Olusegun Obasanjo and level war against the federal government.'
