?LAGOS Oct. 5 (Xinhuanet) -- Nigeria captain Jay-Jay Okocha said on Wednesday he will quit international football after the World Cup finals in Germany next year.
Watching his colleagues train from the sidelines at a stadium in Nigeria's capital Abuja, Okocha expressed the hope in an interview with the country's football magazine Kickoff that Nigeria would earn World Cup ticket although he is nursing an injury now.
"I am hopeful of our qualification. If we make it and then it will be my last World Cup. If we do not make it, God forbids, thatis how I will end my international career," he said.
Nigeria must beat Zimbabwe on Saturday while Group Four leaders Angola must lose to Rwanda in Kigali, if the west Africans are to qualify for Germany 2006
