Inter Milan striker, Obafemi Martins, and his counterpart in Perlemo FC, Ayo Makinwa, were the late arrivals at the Super Eagles camp on Wednesday evening at the Le Meridien Hotel in Abuja.

They however, could not participate in the day’s training, as activities at the training ended before they arrived.

Though Vincent Enyeama was still being awaited by the time the training session closed, indications were that he would be joining the team early on Thursday.

However, the whereabouts of Mikel Obi and Yusuf Ayinla were not known as they still being expected as at 7pm on Wednesday.

But spokesman for the Nigeria Football Association, Mr. Robinson Okosun, said he would make enquiries from the technical crew if there were already in touch with the coaches.

Those who participated in Wednesday’s training were Nwankwo Kanu, Osaze Odenmwigie, Wilson Oruma, Taye Taiwo, Seyi Olofinjana, Sani Kaita, Joseph Enakhahire, Chidi Odiah, Christian Obodo, Austin Ejide and Dele Aiyenugba.

Onyekachi Apam, Kelechi Osunla, Ode Ogah, Nojeem Raji, Sasir Salisu and Obinna Nwaneri, were also present.
