ANOTHER six senior policemen, including a Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) (names withheld) were yesterday arrested for alleged illegal bunkering at Ejigbo, Lagos.
This came barely 24 hours after Acting Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mr. Sunday Ehindero paraded and suspended 11 policemen over sexual escapades in Congo.

The DPO was said to have regained his freedom following an order from the Commissioner of Police in state, Mr. Adewole Ajakaiye who Daily Champion gathered also ordered the arrest of the six officers.
According to him, the policemen were involved in series of illegal bunkering at the Ejigbo depot of the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Lagos.
The source said their arrest followed a tip-off on the activities of the officers.
Most of the policemen, it was learnt owned elegant homes at choice areas in Lagos and posh cars, which they acquired from the proceeds of the illegal deals.
The source stated that the commissioner of police had sequel to the tip-off, detailed police surveillance to trail and monitor the activities of the policemen in the area.
It was gathered that some of the arrested policemen had often influenced their posting and retention in the place.
Confirming the arrest in a telephone interview, Ajakaiye said the six policemen were undergoing interrogation at the monitoring unit in Ikeja.
He said the suspects were arrested by the monitoring unit, an arm of Ajakaiye's surveillance team constituted to monitor policemen who extort money or involve in acts capable of tarnishing the image of the force.
He, however, said that the DPO was not involved in the scam.
Ajakaiye, who vowed to invoke the full weight of the law, said: "It is mere allegation. After the interrogation if they are found guilty, the law will take its course."
