Pitan said that contrary to initial fears that the babies might share some vital organs like kidney, pre - surgical findings revealed that the conjoined twins share only large intestine and the umbilical cord

Reading the radiologists report, the commissioner said "both hearts are probably separate. There is fusion of the anterior aspects of both livers following the I.V contrast medium, there is a clear demarcation of one liver from the other".

"The spleen and kidneys appear normal. Pancreas not seen bilaterally since the babies have a sepaerate pelius each.
