From nowhere, gun fire erupted. He dropped as death took control and his body quivered in response to the after shocks of the bullet.
But three innocent persons, as sources reveal, who had no reason to die on a Sunday were not as lucky.

They apparently were in the wrong place at the right time. They were despatched to early graves in a war in which they were not involved.

Sunday' attacks sent warning signals, even as residents tried to settle into their normal rhythm Obinna may be an Igbo, but sources in the area hinted he may have had sympathy, or was affiliated to Soboma George's break-away group.
The body of the deceased was eventually taken away by police and later deposited at the morgue

The attack on Obinna, some cult analysts and possibly security operatives suspect, may have come from the Vigilante, but there is no proof for now.
That would mean, if what this sources suspect turns out to be true, that the Vigilante might as well had been responsible for the innocent victims who were possibly caught in cross-fires.

Attempts to reach the Vigilante to ask for their side of the story failed. A close aide of the leader had assured the Telegraph his side would get in touch within the hour.

He said he was out of town but confirmed he had learnt that Obinna and three others had been slain by men loyal to Ateke
