Preston North End's midfielder, Dickson Etuhu, is on the verge of joining compatriot Joseph Yobo at Premiership side, Everton.
The 23-year-old player who formerly played for Manchester City has impressed Everton boss, David Moyes, who brought him to Deepdale while he was in charge.
According to information on the club's website, Moyes had been on the trail of the youngster since last season, even as talks between the two clubs about the possibility of the player moving is expected to be formalised.
Sometimes compared to the mercurial Patrick Viera, Etuhu's chances of moving to the Merseyside club looks bright as Moyes seeks the injection of an adventurous player into his squad.
Etuhu is a graduate of the famous Manchester City Academy (MCA) that produced the like of Shaun Wright-Phillips, Joe Barton and Tyrone Mears. Etuhu who received a call-up to the Super Eagles 2002 World Cup build-up started 21 games last season, but is determined to do better this season, especially with the interest shown by Everton
