The 28-member Assembly who sworn on holy Quran in order to do justice to their findings promised to scrutinise all the state transactions with the local government councils.
The House which directed the House committee on appropriation and other related matters to commence a comprehensive investigation on the matter charged it to study the local government joint Allocation dealings from January to date.
The committee was equally saddled with the responsibility of probing into all the federal allocations that the state had received so far to establish whether such allocations were expended according to the rules that guide public finance.
Speaking after the deliberations, the speaker of the House Hon Gani Madu in a chat with newsmen explained that the committee had seen charged to study carefully the request of the House and report back to the Assembly.
