The Abia State Chief Executive, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu (MON) has been accused of allegedly training some killer-youths who he hopes to use as members of his private army when the 2007 presidential race opens.

The trainnes who are reportedly based in what is left of Abia's thick forests would, join members of the dreaded Bakkasi boys to prosecute his presidential ambition come 2007.
This was revealed to the Telegraph by Comrade Chidi Nwozu, South-East Chairman for campaign for democracy during a chat in his office at Aba.
"The camps are in Igbere his home town, Ikwuano and Nvosi in Isi-Alangwa forests", he stressed.
Comrade Nwosu maintained that the opposition in the state have been so intimidated that only one family - Kalu's is ruling the state.
The PRONACO chieftain reiterated that Gov. Kalu sponsors terrorism and genocide in the state and called on member countries of th4e UN to bar Kalu and his relations entry into their countries for violating articles 3, 4 & 5 of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights adopted by the United Nations in April 1948 in which Nigeria is signatory.
When reminded of the serious implication of his allegation, the Human Rights activist said he don't just talk for talking sake.
"If the government is not comfortable with the allegation, it should sue me to court where I have the opportunity to prove my case".
Asked why he toe this lines, Nwosu disclosed that by monitoring and reporting the Human Rights abuses of the government functionaries their excesses would be checked or reduced.
On what could be done for him to drop the dangerous stance, Nwosu recalled that he had once been invited to join the government alongside his colleague A. B. C. Agbazuore who is now a commissioner.
From what he claims, that move was made way back in November 2003.
But be declined, adding that "money is not everything, I value my name more".
He disclosed that the only condition that will make him soft pedal is for the government functionaries to respect the civil, political and economic rights of the people.
"My heart bleeds when I see or hears of their wicked activities, how then can I fathom of working with them", he asked. In the meantime opposition against Kalu mounts.
