Bonny Monarch leadership gladdens indigenes

The humble but most impressive leadership posture of the Amanyanabo of Bonny, King Edward Asimini William Dappa Pepple has impacted positively on the lives of Bonny indigenes invoking feelings of satisfaction and sense of belonging.

One of such indigenes is the former vice chairman of Bonny local government council, Hon Fimie Samuel Dublin Green.

In a chat with Telegraph, Hon Green dumb-founded by the Amanyanabo's admirable disposition in attending to his subjects said, he was highly impressed by what the Monarch did by patiently listening to every one that came to him with their different problems.

Hon. Green explained that such an exemplary leadership has brought peace and jubilation among Bonny indigenes, noting that the Amanyanabo has used his position to secure jobs for many, awarded scholarships and paid the house rents of the poor.

The former vice chairman said that the entire kingdom now live in harmony, adding that even those who were involved in the Finima crisis had asked for the Monarch's forgiveness.

He therefore called on corporate companies in the kingdom to co-operate with Amanyanabo in his enviable efforts to put smiles on the faces of his subjects and create a conducive atmosphere for speeding development.

Hon. Green also extolled the administrative acumen of Bonny Monarch, who he said had transformed the secretariat of Rivers State council of traditional rulers in the state.

He said as the chairman of the traditional rulers in the state, the Amanyanabo like the biblical Solomon had brought his God-given wisdom to bear on the council in order to give it a face-lift.

Hon. Green, therefore commended Governor Peter Odili for appointing their Amanyanabo as the chairman of the traditional rulers' council and expressed the hope that his tenure would bring about unimaginable developments in the council.

The former Bonny council vice chairman also lauded Governor Odili-led administration for its pragmatic approach in tackling teething problems in the state and prayed for the sustenance of such methods.
