Super Eagles forward, Obafemi Martins on Saturday scored in Inter's 4-0 win over Lecco. The Milan side used the match as a warm up for Wednesday's Champions League first leg qualifier against Shakhtar Doneskt in Ukraine.
Martins, who last week, was entangled in an age falsification saga, netted Inter's second goal on 37th minute of play.
The pacy forward's goal was a beauty as he completely side-footed Lecco's goalkeeper, Castelli, who was later replaced by Impagnatiello on the 55th minute. Brazilian international, Adriano, had put coach Mancini's side forward through a well-taken penalty kick 31 minutes into play before the Nigerian 21-year old made it two.
Inter's attacking drive yielded more dividends when Ze Maria netted the third in the 58 minute before Recoba completed the Lecco's misery with a goal in the 71st minute.
Meanwhile Inter's opponent on Wednesday' Shakhtar, also warmed up for the Champions League tie with a 3-0 defeat of Tavrija Symferopol in an Ukrainian league match.
Playing away from the Donestk home, Shakhtar, dominated the match from the start to the finish despite the absence of Aghahowa.
It was the fifth victory out of five matches for the club that played in front of over 13 000 spectators on Saturday.
