Kanu immediately to avert serious trouble in the Local Government Area.

Our man who was at the scene of the protest reports that the protest witnessed over 1000 students of the area who also used the medium to debunk the allegation that the executives of the students union have received N1 million from the council's chairman. "It is false and malicious that we collected money from the chairman. We stand to be contradicted" the president stated.

It would be recalled that nine out of the ten members of the Council Legislative House served a notice of gross misconduct and motion of impeachment against the leader of the House, and they listed several impeachment offences against the council chairman.
