Prominent Ibadan politician Alhaji Lamidi Adedibu yesterday accused the Oyo State police command of connivance with agents of the state government to injure and kill his political supporters
Adedibu Specifically, fingered the police commisioner, Mr Moses Omo Anegbode of 'official corruption and collecting money from the state government to harrass and eliminate his supporters while agents of the government caught commiting violent crimes against his men were left to continue the criminal act'
The PDP leader who addressed a press conference at his Molete home yesterday called for the immidiate removal of the police boss.

But in a swift reaction, the commissioner denied any form of compromise in carrying out his duties, saying "If anybody is raising allgations against me, such a person should fear God."

Adedibu alleged that the late "Lateef Olaniyan was murdered by agents of Governor Rashidi Ladoja with the connivance of the Oyo State police commisioner".

He said despite a court order, the commissioner aided the governor's supporters to hold an election of the executive of the NURTW in the state while the incumbent Alhaji Lateef Akinsola Tokyo was arrested, charged for murder and had been in detention for the past two years.

'' My supporters who are members of the state house of assembly were beaten and injured by Ladoja's thugs while performing their constitutional duties. Till now, police have not investigated the matter. The police also arrested my boys who went to pray on Ileya day on the order of the state government."

' Assasins went to my sons house nothing was done, also ten of my supporters were shot in molete last month police did not prosecute the attackers who are known to be agents of the state government'

However Adedibu said that his camp will not retailate or engaged in any violent reaction
'We prefer to wait till 2007 when Ladoja and his government will be flushed out , in oyo state we dont vote for a governor twice that is our tradition'
