Bolton WanderersAl-Rayyan coach Luis Fernandez is hoping to tempt Bolton Wanderers captain Jay-Jay Okocha to Qatar.
Fernandez has recently taken over the Middle East club and is looking to be reunited with Nigerian midfielder Okocha.
The duo worked together at Paris Saint Germain prior to Okocha's move to The Reebok Stadium three years ago.
Reports in France now claim that Fernandez is putting together a proposal with the aim of enticing Okocha to Qatar.
Okocha could certainly earn a lucrative sum in the Middle East but, at 31, may feel it would be premature to quit Bolton, particularly with Uefa Cup football on offer this season.
Trotters boss Sam Allardyce would also be reticent about losing his skipper, with Okocha having established himself as a key figure for Bolton
