Man of the moment and Flying Eagles coach, Samson Siasia was full of disappointment yesterday at the Enyimba Stadium in Aba when Enyimba Football Club of Aba the homers could not hold their own against Al Ahly of Egypt in a Champions League encounter.

The Bayelsa-born coach who is still brimming with smiles over the lavish reception for him and his wards by his state government for their World Youth Championship feat told Sports Vanguard that he was totally disappointed with Enyimba's performance.
He said the Aba side who are hoping to make history as the first team in Africa to win the trophy three times in a row did not play well, thus allowing the Egyptians, who now top Group A with the maximum six points from two matches, play as if they were at home in Cairo.

Siasia added that the Orji Uzor Kalu motivated team did not play the match with the spirit of defending champion who are looking ahead to qualify for the final four of the competition. Enyimba remain glued to the third position ahead Raja Casablanca, both with just one point while Ajax Cape Town who surprisingly picked a point from Raja in Casablanca occupy the second spot. The Aba side's next match is an away game against Raja. Both teams desperately need the maximum point to assure their place in the semi final as only the top two teams of each group will qualify.
