Emir of Kano Launches Indomie Jollof

The Emir of Kano, Alhaji (Dr.) Ado Bayero over the weekend in Kano during the formal launch of the new Indomie Jollof noodles into the market lauded De-United Foods Industries Limited, makers of Indomie instant noodles for their role in community development and also, their consistency in producing high quality noodles in Nigeria.

The Emir who was represented at the launch of the Indomie Jollof noodles in Kano by the District Head of Dala, Alhaji Aminu Ado Bayero, Sarkin
Dawakin Tsakargida urged other corporate bodies to emulate De-United Foods Industries Limited by contributing their own quota towards nation building by investing in community developmental programmes especially in the area of agricultural, educational and the health sectors of the economy.

Launching the new Indomie Jollof noodles in Kano, Alhaji Bayero, the Emir's representative said: 'the Indomie Instant meal is a healthy meal and from his experience since he was introduced to products of the Indomie Noodles manufacturers in Nigeria, any product from their stable was worthwhile and he believes the Indomie Jollof noodles will be accepted by consumers".

The Chief Executive Officer of De-United Foods Industries Limited, Mr. Roger Yeo said: 'the Indomie Jollof was specially formulated to please our customers and with the formal launch of the Indomie Jollof noodles into the market by the Emir, consumers of noodles now have a choice of jollof taste in their noodles meals".

Speaking further on the launch of the new Indomie Jollof Noodles in Kano, Yeo said that the product just like any of their products will subsequently be launched in other cities of the federation to meet consumers' needs, noting that, when Indomie entered the Nigerian market more than 15 years ago, the obvious goal was to connect with Nigerians, no matter their station in life and De-United Foods Industries Limited have consistently set and define standards in the market with their products.


The new Indomie Jollof noodles come in a regular pack with the noodles having a reddish jollof color and taste.
