As the mayhem at the Port Harcourt Prison makes the rounds and members of the public get the opportunity to obtain information about what could have taken place, it is now known that a number of women within the walls of prison were raped.
As the mayhem at the Port Harcourt Prison makes the rounds and members of the public get the opportunity to obtain information about what could have taken place, it is now known that a number of women within the walls of prison were raped.
The women may have been escaping from their burning cells when they fell victim and where faced with the decision of whether to die or allow men with no love in their loins to have their way.
From what we have heard a total of five women were brutally raped Friday, with some sources suggesting the number could have been higher. Not many women, studies have shown like to admit rape because of the social stigma that goes with it.
Only the women can confirm if the invaders, the escapees, inmates who had no intention to run or prison warders, raped them.
Although the police is aware of the rape case, it is yet to come out with a statement.
