Governor Orji Uzor Kalu of Abia State and his embattled Anambra State counterpart, Dr. Chris Ngige have been advised to gird their loins against imminent plots by their political foes, to destabilize their states and possibly, unseat them.
While the Abia State governor has to be, 'extra-careful" particularly between now and the year's end, Dr. Ngige must keep more than a passing watch on his close aides because they are likely to play the Judas in the next plot to push him out of the Government House.
The General Overseer of House of Authority of Christ International Ministry, Port Harcourt, Pastor Amaechi Madumere, sounded the 'danger" alarm in an interview with Daily Sun in the Rivers State Capital.
Pastor Madumere said he received a revelation that those who are determined to destabilize the South-East geo-political zone have resolved to add Governor Orji Uzor Kalu to the list of state chief executive who must be removed.
'Apart from Dr. Ngige, another government that they are going to fire again is the Governor of Abia State. Before the end of this year, they will strike
'They have planned it and they are waiting for any small slip, to execute their plan. So, he should be very careful because he is one of the few men God has raised to be the mouth of not only the Igbos, but Nigerians as a whole."
The clergyman recommended a regular dose of, 'trust in God and the fear of the Lord," if the governor expects to shame his detractors.
For Governor Ngige, the Pastor warned that the battle was far from finished because those plotting his fall have not given up.
'In the process of prayers, God told me that Ngige's battle has not ended. The plotters are not only in Anambra. There is the Abuja connection and they are regrouping again.''
Pastor Madumere said this time around, the plotters intend to use the governor's trusted friends and aides to penetrate his defence. The good news, however, is that they will reap failure.
'They will succeed only if Governor Ngige compromises his loyalty to the people of the state. But if he remains committed to salvaging Anambra State and the people from bondage, through his many people - oriented programmes, no evil will befall him."
The clergyman advised prominent indigenes of the state who have remained silent on the crisis in the state to speak out now 'or risk the wrath of God" in no distant time.
'God is asking why these men are keeping quiet while things are going wrong in Anambra State. The Lord says that this is the right time for them to sit up and back Ngige up to see that he fulfills what God has brought him to do and develop the state.
'If everybody will stand up and support him, it will be difficult for the enemies of the state to succeed but easy for Ngige to succeed," he said.
