SUPER Eagles vice captain Joseph Yobo has begun light training and jogging as part of his rehabilitation process towards rejoining his mates at Everton.
In fact, Everton boss David Moyes has said he would not rush injured Nigerian centre back Joseph Yobo back to action despite the Toffees being hugely decimated in virtually every department at the moment.
'Joseph Yobo is training; he's doing some light jogging. His hamstring doesn't seem too bad but he won't be available for immediate games. He won't be risked,' said Moyes.
Moyes admits he does not expect to buy any players during this months transfer window despite Louis Saha being sidelined for at least another month.
'The problem is whether you decide to bring someone in for numbers who aren't of the quality required or do you wait to see if somebody of a better quality becomes available.
'We won't be buying anyone. The value of the Euro will definitely have an impact. You may have bought someone for 5m euros but that worked out at £3.5m. Now you are looking at paying nearly £5m. It has changed.
'When you are looking at buying someone in January, you have got to pay top whack. It's more expensive. If you want something, it is very dear.
'Even Bosman signings are not cheap. Say a player has six months left on his contract; clubs just won't let them go.'
