Cleric Sure Of Nigeria’s Recovery

“Our God is a living God and He has never failed us. Nigeria will be delivered and healed totally. We’re in prayers so that God can heal the land.

“Our God is a living God and He has never failed us. Nigeria will be delivered and healed totally. We’re in prayers so that God can heal the land. But people must first repent. Our programme will, by God’s grace, bring a great recovery roundabout to this nation,” Pastor Antoni Okoh, told newsmen as he rounded off preparations for his Day of Recovery programme, coming up on Sunday, 14 December, at the Excellence Hotel, Ogba, Lagos.

“We would use President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua as a point of contact to all who are sick. We want God to redeem everyone with health challenges from the pangs of death. We preach the gospel of peace and life and we must demonstrate it.

“Nigeria is at a crossroads now. We are meeting to pray for the health of the President, Umaru Musa Yar’Adua, because the Bible admonishes us to pray for our leaders. Being aware that the President is facing health challenges, we as a church must pray for his total recovery,” he added.

Pastor Okoh said he intends to travel to the United Kingdom soon for a crusade, because that was his new mandate.

According to him, “God has asked me to go to the nations and recover all the devil has taken away in terms of health, finances, marital peace, prosperity drought, marital embargo, for those seeking partners, ministries in bondage of breakthrough, etc. I have a specific mandate to do it now and in 2009, that would be our focus.”
