Ekiti State government has vowed to ensure the culprits in the five kid saga at Ureje Quarters in Ado-Ekiti are tracked down by the police as the state Deputy Governor, Alhaji Sikiru Lawal, visited the parents of the deceased.

Lawal, who was at the residence of the victims said he was sent by the state Governor, Engr. Segun Oni, to commiserate with the bereaved parents.
Disclosing that the state government had discussed with the state police command on the incident, Lawal promised to see to it that the investigations yield fruits.
Sympathizers were still thronging the home of Mutiu Nureni to commiserate with and ask him questions on how the incident happened.
Narrating the incident to the deputy governor, Nureni said he could not figure out who the killers were, lamenting that he should have been killed by the assailants instead of his children.
'I would rather these people had killed me instead of my children. See what has become of me now. Five children at once, I never thought of experiencing anything like this in my life,' he wailed
When asked the whereabouts of his wives, he said members of their family had come to take them to their different homes in Ado-Ekiti.
When fielding questions from the deputy governor, Nureni explained the brawl he had with the three women who had shops closed to where he sells cloths about three months ago. But he said he never suspected them, noting that they had resolved the brawl at the Ewi of Ado's palace.
The deputy governor prayed that God would grant the family the fortitude to bear the great loss.
Meanwhile, the Prelate of Methodist Church of Nigeria, Dr Sunday Olatunji Makinde, has condemned the killing of the kids, saying he was shocked when he read the story in the newspapers.
He said people no longer take cognizance of God's commandment that says, ‘Thou shall not kill,' noting that life no longer has meaning to some people as they kill without a second thought.
