The life patron of Africa Resurgent (AR), a new Pan-African organisation, His Excellency, the Great Pan-Africanist, Lumumbist and international freedom fighter, Comrade General (Dr.) K.K. Martin-Luther Kassonghov Kasmariot Kassonghov, made the call in a congratulatory message to humanity over Obama's victory.
Describing Africa as the source of world civilisation, Dr. Kassonghov said Africa Resurgent (AR) believes that the progress and development of Africa can only be brought about by Africans themselves.
General Kassonghov noted that America was a land of immigrants from different continents and that the blacks built most of the American cities, but the British colonialists refused to cede power to the blacks. 'Obama has today cut the chain of slavery and has ushered in a new beginning and reform in America, ' he stressed.
