Chairman, Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Dr. Samuel Adesola Adedayo, has assured residents of the area that his emergence as chairman will bring a great change to the community as he will soon start to effect all his electoral promises.
Chairman, Apapa-Iganmu Local Council Development Area of Lagos State, Dr. Samuel Adesola Adedayo, has assured residents of the area that his emergence as chairman will bring a great change to the community as he will soon start to effect all his electoral promises.
Speaking with P.M.News recently, Adedayo said his administration is going to replicate the good works of the governor of Lagos State, Barrister Babatunde Fashola, to who he also extends his gratitude.
'Governor Fashola has performed very brilliantly and I must confess that his ability is a challenge to us all, especially since we are at the grassroots, so we have no choice, but to perform as well and ensure that the people at the grassroots enjoy the dividends of democracy, which is access to the basic necessities of life. So in pursuance of my major objectives, which is alleviation of poverty and education for all as well as the provision and delivery of qualitative health care system, the people of this council area are in for a good time,' he assured.
The council boss, however, appealed to the community to always ensure they observe the environmental sanitation exercise, saying a clean environment leads to a good state of health, while a good state of health leads to long life.
He said the people should feel free to bring their complaints to his office as he is operating an open-door policy, while he said is ready to listen to them at all times.
