The trial of former Chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) Chief Olabode George and five others resumed yesterday at a Lagos High Court.

Chief Tunji Anyalaja (SAN) continued his cross examination of the first witness Mr. Ayoola Ajala, a Chief Superintendent of Police, who was part of the investigating committee raised by The Presidency to investigate the award of contracts by the George-led board.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had accused the board of inflating cost of contract and not adhering to due process in the award of contacts, among others.
