The pioneer secretary of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mr. Adeola Adamson, has been reappointed.
The pioneer secretary of Ayobo-Ipaja Local Council Development Area (LCDA), Mr. Adeola Adamson, has been reappointed.
His reappointment was ratified by the state secretariat of the Action Congress. He was sworn-in by the chairman of the LCDA, Prince Bisi Yusuf, along with four supervisory councillors and a special adviser.
The supervisory councillors are Hon. Abiodun Agbaje, Oladele Ayinde, Ganiyu Ogungbade and Adedayo Akinduro, while Deaconess Florence Akindele was appointed as the Special Adviser on Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation.
Meanwhile, the Ayobo-Ipaja LCDA has embarked on the demolition of illegal structures and eradication of street-trading in the area. Prince Yusuf appealed to parents who engage their children in hawking during school hours to desist from such acts, as they would be arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the new child abuse law.
