An enraged man has stabbed his wife in the buttocks for refusing to give him another round of sex, after four rounds.
And for doing this, his angry wife has dragged him before an Alakuko Grade ‘B' Customary Court for divorce, accusing him of inflicting injuries on her buttocks with a knife.
The petitioner and mother of four, Risikat, told the court that her husband, Rilwan Adisa, whose libido she described as high, stabbed her in her buttocks for refusing to agree to another round of sex after an initial four rounds.
Embattled Risikat revealed this during a discussion, in the chamber, initiated by the court for a possible reconciliation between her and her estranged husband, Adisa, after he told the court that he still loves his wife.
She insisted that the marriage should be dissolved, citing cruelty and incompatibility as reasons. She also displayed the scars of the injuries as evidence during discussion with the president of the court, in the chamber.
She added that the marriage had broken down irretrievably, since there is no more love and care. She also requested the court to grant her custody of the children, saying that her husband would be the wrong person to have the children.
Her words: 'He left the care and welfare of the children to me completely. He does not know how we feed. He only remembers that I am in the house whenever he wants to satisfy his libido. I pay school fees, buy books and was also responsible for other expenses.
'When I left our matrimonial home, he took two of our children to Abeokuta, Ogun state, to live with his aged mother. I learnt that the children were not registered in any school. They were forced to learn blacksmith. There, I learnt that their master often tortured them with a hot iron.'
In his response, Adisa described his wife's allegations as untrue, though, he admitted that he stabbed his wife on the buttocks. He explained that his action was not deliberate.
'That (stabbing) happened during our courtship. I told her that day that I was going to work and would be returning late. But after a few minutes, I returned home and discovered that my woman was nowhere to be found.
'I went back to work and returned home later that day. When I asked her where she had gone, she told me a younger man in the next house invited her to his bathroom to help him wash his back.
'What pained me was the smile of satisfaction on her face as she told me the nasty story. I actually wanted to stab the young man when we started fighting, not my wife. I did not stab her deliberately. It was a mistake that I stabbed her twice,' Adisa narrated. Delivering judgement in the matter, the court dissolved the marriage and granted the petitioner custody of the children, while both parties were warned to maintain peace.
