The president of the Committee for the Defence of Human Rights (CDHR), Comrade Olasupo Ojo, has been attacked by four armed men.
The incident, P.M.News learnt, occurred along Ayetoro Road, in Ogun state. Narrating the incident to P.M.News during a protest held by the group in Lagos, Comrade Ojo said: 'I was driving along Ayetoro Road, in Ogun state, at about 5 p.m., in my Nissan Maxima car, when four men armed with guns tried to stop my car. I tried to escape from them but they started shooting sporadically into the air and later fired at the rear of my car.
'It was a terrible experience. I have never witnessed anything like that in my life.' The Secretary of the Somolu Chapter of the group, Comrade Isiak Bolat, told P.M.News that the president was lucky he was not wounded by the robbers.
