The king of World Beats, Otunba Sunday Adeniyi Adegeye a.k.a. King Sunny Ade, will on 19 November, 2008, storm Femopal Studio, owned by Evangelist Femi Opalemo.
P.M.Entertainment learnt that KSA, as he is popularly called, has agreed to honour Opalemo as he formally declares open the multi-million naira studio, situated around Ota Road, Agege, Lagos.
Apart from KSA, other chieftains in the music industry including Ayo Balogun, Laolu Akins and others, are expected to grace the occasion.
Opalemo, it was gathered, will be formally crowned in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, as King of Gospel on 23 November, by the National Association of Label Owners, Promoters and Artiste Managers (NALPAM).
P.M.Entertainment learnt that the event, which is scheduled for D'Rovans Hotel, will be attended by the Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Samuel Odulana, other traditional rulers, King Sunny Ade and Sir Sina Peters, among others, while artistes including Megga 99, Tunde Samson, Dare Melody, Adegbodu Twins, Ajogba Jesu and Dimeji Alabi, will entertain guests.
Meanwhile, KFO, as Femi Opalemo is popularly called, has concluded work on an album titled God's Glory (Ogo Olorun) and will be released early next year by Leeds Music International owned by Afeez Salami.
