People suspected to be ritualists have beheaded an engine oil seller from Delta state, popularly known as Oyinbo or Agbor man.

The incident happened at Afromedia area of Okokomaiko, a Lagos suburb, located on the Badagry Expressway. Sources told P.M.News that the victim's dismembered body was found on Wednesday, some metres away from his shop, which also served as his sleeping abode.

The ritualists chopped off his head and some of his body parts like the hand and parts of his buttocks. The deceased, who was a popular person in the area, sold engine oil at the Afromedia Junction before he died. He was said to be hale and hearty before his death.

However, his neighbours were not forthcoming regarding who the relatives were, neither have they been contacted in the wake of the tragedy. P.M.News gathered that the remains of the deceased have been removed and deposited at the Isolo General Hospital. When our reporter called at the Okokomaiko Police Station, a police officer who did not want his named mention, confirmed the incident.

He said the circumstances surrounding the death of the man have left the police to suspect a case of ritual killing. He said no suspect has been arrested so far and that investigation was ongoing and declined to give more details.
